Our little shop and our home were both hit hard during the July flooding in 2022. We found ourselves living with a family member for several months as we struggled to salvage what we could and then to rebuild.
Our shop had to be closed and our focus became to get home as quickly as possible. It was hard to experience the devastation of our area. Still as of today there are families displaced and debris hanging from branches and littering the ground. The aftermath of the flood is all around us.
We are blessed to be home and for our shop to finally be back open to the public. It has been a long hard road to recovery.
Our thoughts and prayers are with those who are still struggling to overcome the devastation that the flooding has left them with.
